Hello!
I'm a freelance designer, dreamer-illustrator and pattern lover based in Budapest. It's an inspirational city looks like a museum. I'm a mother of a son with two cats.
I adore to design and illustrate book covers, especially children books. I also like to play with paper-collages and create bold patterns.
I am selling my floral, animal and every-day life illustrations and patterns on different surfaces around the world via print-on-demand sites. I would love to work with home decor companies. My dream is to illustrate a whole children book!
My career has been rolling for over 25 years based on my academic diploma of layout editing & typography.
I used to work for small and big companies and agencies as a layout editor, graphic designer and magazine art director and have a BA in Andragogy (LLL), but along the way, I've always loved to do illustrations. Plus, I've taken Lilla Rogers MATS Bootcamp twice wich really helped me to find my path to my illustrator career.

The childhood-start: I can't remember a time when I was not making some art. Thank's to my supporting father who was an artist (photographer) and gave me all the tools and materials, even oil to paint with.
The first illustration work I got at the age of six. My heart was shaking but did the job in time.
And now my illustrations have recently been featured in Society6 Art Quarterly. No 2.3.
My process: sometimes I start with watercolour, acrylic, or whatever I have in hand, then go mad digitally.
Sometimes I do all digital. I'm a very impatient and spontaneous persona so don't like to spend too much with pre-drawing, just hit it and let it flow...

My favourite colour is turquoise, coral-pink, and muted retro tones contrasted with a strong hue.
I love things like
...the colours and the sound of the sea,
...the mood of the rain at summertime,
... and the foggy night-forest,
...horses, cats, dogs-laziness
...the smell of freshly grounded coffee.
I am inspired by mid-century modern, native folk motifs, vintage children book illustrations from the fabulous 60ies, Penguin Books and ohh, those plastic jazz covers...
I wish to be represented by an agency and open to any collab, design work or licensing.
I'm fun to work with.
If you like to have one of my illustrations to be hanging on your wall, make your kid's room fancy, decorate your home textiles, wear it on cool, unique clothes, or enjoy on tech stuff, visit one of my shops or get in touch with me at elenor27.weebly.com/contact.html
